This year was crazy, insane, enjoyable, busy, creative, productive. Each month had its adventures. Each week had its moments. Each hour had its feelings. I know I'm not the same person as I was last January. God was with me every month, week, and hour.
A handful of friends joined me for a hiking trip for my 16th birthday. |
On this blog, you've seen a little bit of my life.
Last December - I explained my views of goals and made some for my writing.
January - I decided to smile to start off the year.
March - I suddenly had to say goodbye to my three year old foster sister. For the next three months, I saw her scarcely. For the next six months after that, I saw her once.
- I also found out I had a digestive disorder/Gluten intolerance. This would be a new challenge for me.
August - I celebrated my Sweet Sixteen.
- I also got a concussion that put me out of writing, school, and work for a week.
October - God is the reason why I write.
December - We welcomed my big sister home from college.
My writing has also grown, changed, and expanded over the past year.
I found inspiration from "To Kill a Mockingbird"
As far as guest posts go, Stephanie Morrill, Jill Williamson, and Rachel Coker gave their time to post on my blog.
I recorded a lot of things I learned about writing:
About writing everyday
About my second book
About Archetypes
About Fact Manuals
About making fun of editing
That experience and other things I've learned led to multiple guest posts on:
What to expect in 2014
More progress on "Brick Walls."
Information on my poem which will be published in the spring.
More information on my current book, "Ideal Lies."
More tips on writing.
I celebrated my sweet sixteen in August too lol! This year has been super busy for us. A year of trials and triumphs and finding blessings in the most unexpected places and times. I finally started writing my first book which is both terrifying and exhilarating all at once. A belated Merry Christmas to you and a very Blessed New Year to you and your family.
